I found it difficult when taking the images of the fireworks because of my lack of tripod, however I think that I was able to capture a few images that are good enough to display. I used Photoshop a lot during this part of my project and especially used tools like: Exposure and Curves. While each of my images have a different composition, I do not believe that can be helped, as I was not controlling the fireworks myself. In the future, if given the chance to photograph fireworks again, I will have to be much more prepared. I will ensure I do things like scouting out a good set up location earlier on and brining a tripod and any other materials I might need with me. The colours of the fireworks against the dark night sky are a real contrast and by using the tools I did on Photoshop I think that it really makes the picture. I do not think that the images have a particular mood or atmosphere other than excitement. The lights and colours are very beautiful and really catch your attention.

The image of my own that I have chosen to analyse further is displayed above. Asymmetrical is the composition of this image because the main focus of light is off to one side – the right. Even though my project photo-shoot was meant to revolve around fireworks I couldn’t help but attempting to photograph the moving Ferris wheel. The result of doing this was good and the background is only slightly blurred. (Again because I had no tripod). The colours of the image are somewhat simple, yet very bright. I think that the colour works well against the black sky and orange lights that surround it. Even though it is not a firework it still belongs in the firework collection of images because I had taken them at the same time. I have decided to focus on mainly light at the beginning of my experimenting and that is what I have done this time around also.  The image does not have any social cultural or political meaning, but it does offer a almost supernatural view into one of your childhood favourite rides. The bright colours reflect that excitement, which a child does when riding a Ferris wheel. Therefore the concept would be to take you back in time to a place where your childhood dreams could come true and you had to restraints on your life.
